The Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2003 SI 2003/1684, reg 3

NOTES

The Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2003 SI 2003/1684 reg 3 is entitled "Interpretation" (in force with effect from 1st August 2003).

The Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2003 SI 2003/1684 reg 3 provides that for purposes of the Working Time Regulations, 1998, SI 1998/1833 (as amended):

"ship" has the same meaning as in section 313 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995;"

Merchant Shipping Act 1995 s.313 simply provides that '"ship' includes every description of vessel used in navigation"
