The normal provisions regarding holidays set out in the Working Time Regulations 1998 SI 1998/1833 regs 13 to 16 are slightly modified for agricultural workers. The general rule is that the leave year for an agricultural worker "begins on 6th April each year or such other date as may be specified in an agricultural wages order which applies to him"
The Agricultural Wages Board is due to be abolished as part of government savings.
