Authority for the proposition that:-
for an employee of the magistrates courts to qualify on redundancy for additional compensation under the Justices of the Peace Act 1949 (Compensation) Regulations 1978, the employee's main duties must be assisting the justices’ clerk as opposed to merely spending part of their time assisting the clerk.
