- gender identity dysphoria is not a disability within the meaning of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995
- a decision to dismiss on grounds of cabability due to side effects of gender reassignment is not sex discrimination under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 or EC Directive 76/207
