Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2003, SI 2003/3038 applies where the appropriate date falls between 1st February 2004 and 31st January 2005, when it is revoked and replaced (see notes at Compensation/2005 limit increases ).

Main changes made by Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2003, SI 2003/3038 included an increase in the cap on a week's pay relevant for several tribunal awards from £260 to £270 and an increase in the compensatory award limit from £53,500 to £55,000.

As there is no statutory cap on the amount a tribunal can award in discrimination cases the Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2003, SI 2003/3038 did not cover them.
