Authority for the proposition that:-

the question of whether the tribunal had jurisdiction to hear an unfair dismissal complaint under ERA 1996 s196 did not determine the place where the employee was employed for the purposes of redundancy under LINK REQUIRED ERA 1996 s139.

ERA 1996 s.196 was repealed on 25th October 1999, and the position is now governed by the decision of the House of Lords in Lawson v Serco HL 2006 UKHL 3.
