Temporary and Agency Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Bill
The purpose of this Bill was "to prohibit discrimination against temporary and agency workers; to make provision about the enforcement of rights of such workers; and for connected purposes"
The Bill was talked out at 2nd reading on 2nd March 2007. Subsequently it failed to get government backing and ran out of time on its resumed 2nd reading on 19th October 2007. It was up for 2nd reading on 26th October 2007 but failed to go ahead (see Hansard 19th Oct 2007 HC col 1138.
