The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2007, SI 2007/3570 was made on 18th December 2007 and applies where the appropriate date falls on or after 1st February 2008. Main changes include an increase in the cap on a week's pay relevant for several tribunal awards from £310 to £330 and an increase in the maximum unfair dismissal compensatory award from £60,600 to £63,000. This is an annual inflation-linked increase.

As there is no statutory cap on the amount a tribunal can award in discrimination cases the Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2007 does not cover them.
