waiting for the conclusion of internal statutory disciplinary procedures before presenting an unfair dismissal claim to the employment tribunal can make it "not reasonably practicable" to have presented the claim in time. The result is that the tribunal will have power to exercise discretion to allow the claim to be presented even though the normal time limit for doing so has expired.
