ICR is the only series of employment law reports approved before publication by the judge who tried the case in question. ICR reports are quoted in preference to all other published case reports in the higher courts (see Court of Appeal, Civil Division, 1999 Practice Direction No 10.1.2).
Summaries of all cases reported in Industrial Cases Reports since 1st January 2000 are included in professional versions of this program. These summaries generally include links to details of the barristers who appeared as well as links to relevant commentary notes in the emplaw program. Summaries of many other cases, including many reported in ICR since 1972, are also included.
