Court of Appeal raises prospect of whistleblowing protection for 54,000 Junior Doctors

In a decision that has implications not only for doctors but for all agency workers in the UK, the CA rejected the EAT decision that the existence of a contract of employment between a junior doctor and an NHS Trust meant here was no room and so no scope to bring a whistleblowing claim against Health Education England as a body which deploys doctors in training.
