Allma Construction Ltd v Bonner - Settlement agreements (with ACAS but without COT3) [2010] EAT

An unwritten settlement agreement of an unfair dismissal claim reached after an ACAS conciliation officer "has taken action" will be binding whether or not a formal COT3 settlement agreement has been signed and whether or not the ACAS officer knows about it.
