Amey v Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust - Was employment contract terminated, either by changes too fundamental to simply amount to a variation or, indeed, expressly?  EAT
Following a reorganisation within the Trust Mrs Amey was regraded from a "band 7" to a "band 6" midwife. Although she carried on working she claimed that she had been dismissed and re-employed on a new contract. She claimed that the dismissal was unfair. An employment tribunal rejected her claim and she appealed.
