Ashcroft v Haberdashers Aske's Boys School - Waiting for conclusion of statutory disciplinary procedure makes it "not reasonably practicable" to present unfair dismissal complaint in time [2007] EAT

A long line of legal authorities, starting with the 1984 Court of Appeal judgment in Palmer & Saunders v Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, has made clear that the fact that an internal appeal is pending does not justify an extension of time for presenting an unfair dismissal claim. It does not make it "not reasonably practicable" to present the claim within the three month limit.
