Mr & Mrs Liversidge and Mrs Balmain were employed by Atlas and worked as cleaners at Zara stores. After items went mssing, Zara refused to have the three staff in their store. Atlas offered them work at another store, but this would be on lower pay and there was a strong chance that Atlas were soon losing that contract anyway. The three cleaners raised questions about all these matters and Atlas took it that they were refusing the offer and so dismissed them.
