Baker Perkins Ltd v Melone & Others - Tribunal's seven month delay in issuing judgement was "unacceptable" [2008] EAT

An employment tribunal concluded that the redundancies of Mr Melone and 7 colleagues were unfair, due to inadequate consultation and failure to use objective criteria in respect of the marking process that led to selection for redundancy. Baker Perkins appealed, although this became academic since the employees subsequently withdrew their claims.
