Barrosso & ors. v Fahy - Review of default judgement [2007] EAT (Revised 8.6.07)

A summary of this EAT ruling was included here in March 2007 when it first appeared on the web. It was a case in which the EAT allowed an appeal against a tribunal's refusal to review a default judgment.

The version of the EAT ruling on the EAT website has now been slightly revised but in essence remains unaltered ("the Appellants' solicitors put in their Responses one day late, by post" has now become "the AppellantsÂ’ solicitors sent their Responses to the Tribunal by post on the last day before time expired; they arrived one day late").
