Bayley v Whitbread Hotel Co Ltd (t/a Marriott Worsley Park Hotel) & Anor - Strike-out for deliberate failure to disclose report  EAT
Mr Bayley brought a claim for disability discrimination against Whitbread and was represented by his non-lawyer father. Mr Bayley senior disclosed only "edited extracts" from two specialist reports on his son's dyslexia. The tribunal decided that he had deliberately removed elements which did not support his case. This prejudiced Whitbread in preparing its case. It struck out the claim.
