Beacons of Light Ltd v Belton [2009] EAT

Perverse unfair dismissal decision as tribunal substituted its own view for that of the employer.

Mr Belton started employment with Beacons of Light Ltd in July 2005.  He was employed as a carer at their residential care home, having been employed as a social worker in residential care since 1976. Until the events that gave rise to these proceedings, he had had an unblemished career.
