Birmingham City Council (1) Semlali (2) v Millwood - difference in status and treatment alone do not support inference of discrimination
When considering whether there has been discrimination, it is not enough for the tribunal to identify a difference in status and treatment between a claimant and comparator to infer discrimination. It must find and identify "something more" on which to base its conclusion.
