Blacklisting
- It is unlawful to refuse a person employment because he or she is (or is not) a member of a trade union
- The Employment Relations Act 1999 (Blacklists) Regulations 2010, SI 2010/493 (came into force on 2 March 2010) was passed following discovery by the Information Commissioner that an organisation called The Consulting Association was selling a list of trade union “trouble-makers” to construction companies
