Blundell v The Governing Body of St Andrew's Catholic Primary School & anor - Return to "same job" after additional maternity leave [2007] EAT
An employee who takes additional maternity leave, or parental leave for a period of more than four weeks, is entitled to return from leave to the job in which she was employed before her absence or, if that is not reasonably practicable, to another job which is both suitable and appropriate for her to do in the circumstances (see Maternity and Parental Leave (etc.) Regulations 1999 reg 18).
