British Airways Plc v Williams & ors - Flight crew's annual leave pay to be calculated including all contractual allowances, not just basic salary [2008] EAT
BA flight crew receive various contractual "extras" such as flying pay and an allowance when away from their base, on top of their basic salary. When taking leave, however, BA has always paid just the basic salary. BA pilots challenged this under the Civil Aviation (Working Time) Regulations 2004 - which roughly approximate to the Working Time Regulations 1998 which do not apply to aircrew.
