Burke v The British Council; ADT Fire & Security Plc. v Speyer; Cameron v Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes - Overseas element in employment disputes [2006] EAT

These three cases are the last of a series of appeals which were stayed pending the House of Lords decision in  Serco Ltd v Lawson [2006] ICR 250. HHJ McMullen has provided a useful practical 5 point summary of the "gateways to jusrisdiction" on whether UK unfair dismissal and anti-race and disability discrimination law applies while an employee is working abroad (the NAAFI case involved extra complications involving EC law, the ECHR and NATO rules applicable to British personnel in Germany).
