A time limit for doing an exam is a "competency standard" within the meaning of DDA 1995 s.14A(5) (see now Equality Act 2010 s.54) . As such it is specifically NOT a provision, criterion or practice (PCP) in respect of which reasonable adjustments had to be made under DDA 1995 s.14B (see now Equality Act 2010 s.53).
