Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce v Beck - burden of proof in age discrimination cases

In a case of dismissal due to alleged age discrimination, the inclusion of the word "younger" in the specification for a person to replace the dismissed employee can be sufficient to shift the burden of proof to the employer, even if other relevant circumstances indicate that age discrimination was not a reason for the dismissal.
