A tribunal's discretion to extend the three-month time limit for filing claims under TUPE 2006 and for unfair dismissal can only be exercised if it was "not reasonably practicable" for the claims to have been presented in time. Reasonableness for this purpose includes what could have been done, for example making further inquiries.
