Chief Constable of Norfolk & anor. v Arthurton - No victimisation in sex discrimination case EAT
Ms Arthurton, a policewoman, brought four claims of direct sex discrimination and victimisation against her employer police force. She won in the Norwich Employment Tribunal and the Chief Constable appealed. The appeal has been dismissed in respect of three of the matters she had complained of but allowed in respect of a victimisation claim which arose from a failure by the police to apologise to her for the way a grievance had been handled.
