Circumstances for ordering further and better particulars of a claim - Secretary of State for Work & Pensions (Jobcentre Plus) v Constable
Whilst it is important to keep unnecessary legalism out of Tribunal proceedings, if the effect of not asking a claimant to provide particulars of his claim in advance of a hearing would be to make it difficult for the case to be heard in accordance with the over-riding objective of fairness then a Tribunal should order that further particulars be provided.
