City of Edinburgh Council v Dickson [2009] EAT

The fact that an employer treats a disabled person unreasonably, even in a matter related to his disability, does not mean that he does so because the person is disabled.

Mr Dickson suffers from a disability with the meaning of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (amongst other serious problems, he suffers from type 1 diabetes).
