City of Edinburgh Council v Lauder & 9 others - On-call hours whilst sleeping not working time for minimum wage purposes [2012] EAT

A worker who sleeps at or near the workplace and may be called on to work during that period of what would otherwise be sleep, in addition to his normal work, cannot claim the on call hours as salaried work for the purposes of the National Minimum Wage Act 1998.
