Consistent Group Ltd v Kalwak & ors - Employment agency case - Who is the employer? [2007] EAT

This is the latest in the recent line of cases examining the employment status of agency workers. In this case it has been held that workers supplied by an employment agency to the Grampian group of companies were "employees" for employment law purposes. The EAT also found that they were employees of the agency rather than of the end user - which is unusual.
