Cotswold Developments Construction Ltd v Williams - Contract of Employment: Mutuality of Obligations [2005] EAT

This judgment was given just 5 days after a judgment by the same judge the main interest of which was in the same question viz whether "mutuality of obligations" is inconsistent with holding that a person is a "worker" (see Khan v Checkers Cars Ltd, which appeared on the EAT website on the same day as this ruling). In this case the question was even more important as it concerned the Working Time Regulations for which the definition of "worker" is crucial.
