Creditsights Ltd v Dhunna [2014] EWCA Civ 1238

Employee working in Dubai could not bring unfair dismissal complaint or for holiday pay

In another jurisidiction case,  Creditsights Ltd v Dhunna, Mr Dhunna worked initially in the UK and thereafter in Dubai for CSL, a British company operating out of London. The setting up of the Dubai office was all done from New York. After a year Mr Dhunna was summarily dismissed for gross misconduct. He claimed unfair dismissal, breach of the right to be accompanied at a disciplinary hearing and accrued holiday pay. An ET dismissed the first two claims but allowed the third. Mr Dhunna appealed.
