Davidson-Hogg v Davis Gregory Solicitors and Howarth - unfair dismissal compensation

If a person's employment would have been fairly terminated on or around a specified date shortly after an unfair dismissal, it is appropriate for compensation for future loss to cover only the period between the dismissal and that date.  However the compensation should take account of any difference that the additional period of employment would be expected to have made to the ex-employee's position in the labour market.
