De Clare Johnson v Mya Consulting Ltd - Vicarious liability for non-employee [2007] EAT

Ms de Clare Johnson successfully claimed constructive dismissal against Mya. She worked for Mya (a business run from home) as a housekeeper. Crucially, although she was employed by Mrs McKenzie, who ran Mya, it was Mr McKenzie's actions in shouting at her that led her to resign. Mr M worked for Mya only as a consultant. Mya appealed.
