Dean & Dean Solicitors & Others v Dionissiou-Moussaoui - With only two exceptions, employment judge's discretion when considering costs is unfettered [2008] EAT
Mrs Dionissiou-Moussaoui claimed constructive unfair dismissal in the employment tribunal and lost - at the same time as she achieved mixed results in litigation in the County Court against the firm of solicitors which had been her employer. The firm applied for costs, but the Employment Judge dismissed its application.
Dean & Dean solicitors appealed to the EAT, but lost.
