Employers' Associations
- For the purposes of both the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 and Employment Rights Act 1996, an employers’ association is an organisation (whether temporary or permanent) of employers and/or individual owners of undertakings whose main purpose includes "the regulation of relations between employers ... and workers or trade unions" (Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 s.122 and Employment Rights Act 1996, s.235(1)).
