Equal Pay and Terms - Relationship with Wrongful Deduction from Wages Rules
- Employment Rights Act 1996 s.13 is in Part II of the Act ("Protection of wages") and is entitled "Right not to suffer unauthorised deductions".
- The Equality Act 2010 allows for cases to be brought if pay is unequal on account of gender.
- The new tribunal fees mean that it is cheaper to bring an unauthorised wages case than a discrimination case.
