Essombe v. Nandos Chickenland Ltd - Striking out [2007] EAT

Mr Essombe was assistant manager of a restaurant in Balham run by his employer, by Nandos Chickenland Ltd. The EAT judgment does not explain the background save to say that, after a proper disciplinary hearing, he was dismissed and that he then brought unfair dismissal and race discrimination claims. His claims were struck out by an employment tribunal as he failed to comply with an order the tribunal had made for production of video and sound recordings he had taken at the disciplinary hearing.
