Park keeper Mr Fowler, who was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder, brought a claim against his employers, the London Borough of Waltham Forest, to the effect that their failure to grant him sick pay throughout his sickness absence amounted to "less favourable treatment for a reason related to his disability." The EAT has upheld the original tribunal decision - viz.
