G4S Security Services (UK) Ltd v Grant - Constructive dismissal [2007] EAT

An employment tribunal found that Mr Grant was unfairly constructively dismissed. The employer appealed, essentially on the basis that the tribunal had applied the wrong test. The employer argued that the test used by the tribunal was whether the employer had acted reasonably or unreasonably whereas the proper test is whether the employer had conducted itself in a way which went to the root of the contract and amounted to a fundamental breach.
