G4S Security Services (UK) v Rondeau - Settlement refusal then later acceptance caused wasted costs and was unreasonable [2009] EAT
Refusing an offer of settlement without making any counter-offer, only to then accept that same offer at the door of the court, is unreasonable behaviour that can result in a costs order by the EAT.
