The Garden Centre Group v (1) Oakley (2) Madine - Tribunal failed to make central finding of fact [2012] EAT

A tribunal's judgment can be undermined if it fails to make findings of fact that are central to resolving which of the parties' contentions (in this case about the reason for dismissal) is correct. 

Mrs Oakley and Mrs Madine were Regional HR managers for the Garden Centre Group (GCG), but were dismissed. They brought employment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal.
