Greenwood v Whiteghyll Plastics Ltd - Some other substantial reason for dismissal and injustice to employee  EAT
Whiteghyll Plastics employed Mr Greenwood as a shopfitter. Morrisons, a major customer, complained to Whiteghyll about Mr Greenwood and barred him from working at Morrisons stores. Since Whiteghyll had no alternative work available, it dismissed him. The tribunal concluded that Whiteghyll had no option, and the dismissal was fair.
