Grimshaw v Griffin Signs Ltd and ors EAT - No continuing act of sex discrimination [2008] EAT
Mr Grimshaw began employment with Griffin Signs Ltd, a family sign making business, in June 2004 as a cleaner/packer. In 2006 he was dismissed for redundancy. His employment terminated on 31 March 2006.
Amongst other claims, he filed tribunal claims at end August 2006, alleging that he had been subjected to homophobic abuse by one of Griffin's directors and by three of his seven fellow employees "in the context of a culture of discrimination and hostility".
