Inchcape Retail v Symonds - Tribunal wrongly substituted own view on subjective selection critera for redundancy [2009] EAT

In a dismissal case a tribunal must not substitute its views for the employer's. This is especially so in a redundancy situation, where a tribunal should not reassess subjective criteria once it is accepted that these have been used as a selection method.
