Jones & Baird v Transport & General Workers Union - No bias in either employment judge's history or in findings of credibility in favour of one party EAT
Mrs Jones & Mr Baird were officers in TGWU. They were dismissed for irregularities in the elction of a successor as General Secretary to Sir Bill Morris. They claimed unfair dismissal, along with other officers similarly dismissed. An employment tribunal decided to conjoin all these cases. Mrs Jones and Mr Baird sought a review of that decision, which was refused. The tribunal found against Mrs Jones and Mr Baird. They appealed.
