Khan v Royal Mail Group Plc - Disability discrimination appeal dismissed: Royal Mail had offered reasonable adjustments to an asthmatic [2007] EAT
Mr Khan started work as a postman in 2000. He developed asthma and had difficulty completing his delivery round. Attempts were made to find alternative work for him but he rejected them. He then brought various claims including bullying and harassment claims and claims of racial and disability discrimination. He was dismissed on 9 weeks' notice in June 2005. He withdrew his race discrimination claim but added an unfair dismissal claim.
