A claimant is entitled to proper reasons for a tribunal's findings, and so its decision must be "Meek compliant"
Mr Liversidge, a teacher, was dismissed for reasons connected with his performance and for having stated on his application for the senior post he occupied that he had "Qualified Teacher Status" (QTS) when he did not. He claimed unfair dismissal but lost. The Employment Tribunal concluded that he was fairly dismissed for dishonesty, and Mr Liversidge appealed
